We booked an appartment with a private pool. The view was fantastic, the appartment well equiped and the host was very friendly and always available. Herbs can be found in the garden and used for cooking. Breakfast is available upon request. We will definately come back to this nice Location.... ++

Great location and setting
My wife and I stayed here for a week. The hilltop setting above the Ligaria and Pelagia beaches is perfect. The apartment was spotless and well equipped with a patio overlooking the sea. We were greeted with fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. The pool is convenient after a long day of traveling. The location provides for convenient trips in the North to points from Chania, Rethymno, Heraklion, and Malia, as well as to the many environs and antiquities. Though we also spent a week in the South, you can reach the major southern sites and beaches in little more than an hour.... ++

Since Nymphes sits atop a mountain, the wind is quite strong up there, so keep that in mind if you go during low-season. Also, it's a bit removed from the town, which sits along the water down below, so you'll need a car to come and go. Though breakfast isn't served at Nymphes, we found a small grocery…... ++
